Pros

Helping others who are in need of assistance. Can be a fulfilling job if Management were kinder and more professional.

Cons

Employees & Management are unreasonable & unethical. They lack professionalism, difficult and unreasonable to work with. Training is little to none.

Your comments are appreciated. I truly would have liked the opportunity to hear your comments while you were with us so that we could address the specific situations you experienced. You are welcome and encouraged to reach out to any member of our senior leadership team to provide more details. "Unethical" is a pretty big deal for us as we take our individual integrity and the integrity of our organization as an utmost priority.

Pros

The patients and coworkers are great.

Cons

They admit new patients daily but dont have the staff to cover them. You'll work 10 hour days Mon-Fri and weekends if you cant track down your people during the week. They work the field staff like dogs. Plan to drive to every side of town daily. And if you ever have a normal 8 hour-6 patient day dont expect it to look the same the next day. It changes daily. And even if you have 8 patients for the day you better have every piece of your paperwork done by midnight. Which means computer work every night for hours after working 9-10. I'm Looking for new job every day. They make it sound great and are always saying they are "hiring", "its going to get better soon" but it never does and all they care about is money here. For being such a "prestigious" company they dont run like one. People pay more for that but they won't get it. They are not at all professional or organized. I feel sorry for the patients, they never have enough home care aides to see them. This place cant keep staff because its so awful. Stay far away!!!!!!

First, thank you for your comments. We certainly appear to have more things to work on. We have been working hard to fix our processes, hire the right team members (not just everyone who walks through our door) and keep a focus on our quality. Our recent decision to bring in an interim, experienced leader has been another step in the right direction for our services. We're seeing growth, we're seeing quality improvements, and we're experiencing higher levels of retention on the team than we have in the past year. So, the results would tell us we're gaining ground. Yet, we will be in constant improvement mode to make things better. I am excited about the plans for 2018. We have worked on a better foundation in 2017 and we've experienced a lot of change. All of that will pay off going forward. I - and all of the members of the team - refuse to give up on our efforts. And we'll be looking for lots of great people to help us. I would also like to address the issue of "profit" or making money. We must absolutely have an eye on the bottom line of the organization if we want to sustain our services and also serve more people. We have had to get clearer about measureable goals so that we can succeed. Where there is no margin, there can be no future services. We're committed to providing services far into the future - serving more people in more ways. We absolutely must balance that with our team and improve our ability to help the team see how they can contribute in positive ways - first and foremost to the experience of the client. Then, to the success of the organization. Your feedback, while not as positive as we would hope, is helpful to us to see where we need to continue to focus. And, as always, we wish you the best in your future success.

Pros

Our team members and our clients/residents are THE BEST. I appreciate the opportunity to work with an exceptional group of people who are truly humble servants to those we serve. Our caregivers are incredible people who have an amazing ability to do the toughest work every day with a smile on their face. I'm honored to be a part of such a great group and am proud of our team members -- and I know the families who have trusted us to care for their loved ones feel the same. It's special to be on the team that believes in transforming the aging experience and is leading the way in the industry.

Cons

Each team member has a responsibility to make healthy choices and keep life in balance. WesleyLife does a nice job of making the healthy choice the easy choice and encourages us to take care of ourselves...sometimes our team members don't do this and need to! Take care of yourself so you can take care of others and be your best.
