Pros

- laid back work environment - end of the month lunches - unlimited commission cap - you can speak to anyone in the company on every level, everyone knows each other on a first name basis

Cons

- hasn't been a president for over 6 months - since the president left the company culture has suffered - supervisors have no say and cannot effectively manage you - constant changes - want to be CACC but cannot compete - the companies changes greatly affect your commission -commission structure has changed multiple times - on your back to make calls and hit call times even when the program wasn't good so it hurt your client relationships - sign up process was difficult to get the client started with the program

Pros

The concept of work life balance was nice until truth set in. Good job for young people with no experience and a good stepping stone to a better job

Cons

This is a job where you are expected to work monday-sunday but you get paid like your working part time at an internship in college. Those few that do well are people who have been with the company since COVID peaked and prices skyrocketed and no one wanted to touch sub prime with that much risk. Anyone who joins Western Funding now will be lucky to get a dealer that's productive enough for you to make enough to pay for groceries. The territorys are ran through and there are reps from different areas handling business in your area unassigned dealers or unprotected dealers are a free for all to the whole company. These are only a few reasons as to why the turnover is so high. They won Nevada best place to work but believe me when I say that only applies to the office in Nevada. I would not recommend this company as a career for anyone because that ship has sailed considering the territorys are all ran through and dealerships that actually produce are all taken and most franchise dealers want nothing to do with them. I would not recommend working here to anyone with experience

Thanks for your service and your feedback. I disagree with most of your "Cons" listed above except to agree that the sales rep job is hard. That said, our producing dealer count represents less than 10% of the addressable market so there is plenty of opportunity out there....but again it is not easy. I also note that we were awarded Top Workplaces USA in addition to Top Workplaces Nevada for 2024. I also note that 2024 was a tough year for us and for the industry in terms of volume and pay. That happens in this business and will happen again at some point....and I acknowledge that such situations are very tough, cause turnover, and angst generally so it is understandable if that colored your perception.
