Pros

Benefits used to be pretty good, but they've been slowly moving away from a policy of "employee caring" and more into that same corporate mindset. That said: Health Vision Dental 401k RSUs "Unlimited" PTO Career Guidance

Cons

The technical side is mostly run by a singular demographic that minimizes the opportunity for input if you aren't of said demographic. There's frequent (daily) language barriers due to this that make cooperation and authorization a black hole of uncertainty. I frequently found myself asking someone to translate a request, waiting almost a week, and then getting a flat "we don't do that" without explanation or reasoning. Makes doing your job difficult.

Pros

It’s zoom. It’s nice to have on your resume. Prospects and customers generally love zoom so easy foot in the door for selling

Cons

Leadership has slowly burnt everyone out. Over the last 3 years the newly hired leadership has killed morale, restricted rep flexibility on selling, and sees everyone as just a number and changed the ways of zoom entirely.

Pros

They're very generous with their salaries and base it on your title and geographic location. When I started, there were lots of incredible benefits: $300 monthly wellness stipend, phone reimbursement, yearly credit in the company store, unlimited book reimbursement, free online fitness sessions, stock purchase plan, RSUs, etc. Although I was part of the massive layoffs in 2023, they had a very generous severance package. The culture is also extremely friendly and inviting.

Cons

Over the year I was with the company, some of the benefits disappeared without much warning. Their products have a fast-paced monthly release cycle. Management needs to work on their foresight. Like many tech companies, Zoom had a massive layoff at the beginning of 2023.
