Pros

I would like to share my experience in the FLL office as it is different to multiple reviews I have seen. Personally, I have had a very positive experience. Yes, we have encountered obstacles along the way, but this is applicable to all companies. I have also experienced a very positive change with new management and do not agree with negative reviews. I have had constant support, both professionally and personally and feel that this creates a mutual relationship of trust and respect. I have seen a genuine effort to create a positive environment and an improved experience for our employees and our customers, and I feel we are on the right track for doing so. It is unfortunate that a handful of bad personal experiences from employees that are not content with their role have transcribed to negative reviews. This is not an accurate reflection. I genuinely enjoy coming to work daily. I feel we have a group of talented individuals that are coming together as a team and can accomplish great things together.

Cons

At times, work life balance is not optimal, but it comes with the industry and the role.

Pros

iPipeline is an awesome place to work. Although there is some ancient products still being maintained newer products are taking advantage of new technologies(Mongo,Docker,Octupus,etc...) and modern DEVOPs methodologies to deploy. The people here are second to none and there is a great atmosphere for camaraderie including many off-site activities/sports and happy hours. Career progression is attainable assuming you go above and beyond in your current duties and are innovative in finding improvements. There is after-hours work for most people which is normal in IT but time is flexible and most departments have a one day a week work from home policy when needed. When I started the company had many issues scaling our products but has invested millions into the back-end infrastructure with state of the art hardware that has led it to be a world-class enterprise.

Cons

The main issue here is the customers. Financial companies are very hard to work and it can get stressful to hit deadlines for multi-million dollar projects as the core product drives salaries for our customers and any mistakes can cost dearly both internally and externally. New annuity product Affirm deals with large banks which are even tougher to work with than Life Insurance companies. Health benefits are average but competitive to similar sized companies.

Excellent advise and we are working on those ideas that you recommend, especially a future annuity platform.

Pros

The fellow peeps that work here are amazing! The benefits seem to be better here than at other places but the pay could be better. It is in a great location close to the major hubs of transportation.

Cons

High turnover and slow to rehire meaning way too much work stressing us out here! A lot of the key people in the company who have worked here a long time are leaving for better opportunities. We also just had some good people laid off which is a downer. It is a cause for concern for the rest of us.

Thank you for your comments. The reorganization was necessary so we could focus more on services and customer facing positions. These are the areas that are overworked and stressed and we are using every angle to hire more people. The interview process was completely revamped over the past year so if this comment is still true please drop me an email. I will also look into your HR comments. Tim
