Hired to Deliver Results Without the Tools to Do the Work

Pros

The team members still showed up. • Formal requests for essential tools disappeared into an approval process that never ended • Those in charge blamed budget constraints while continuing to hire more staff • Half my time was spent creating systems that should have already been in place • Every report suffered because of missing resources • Work came to a standstill whenever specialized tools were required

Cons

• Equipment and infrastructure needed to do the work simply did not exist

Compensation is nowhere close to what the workload and demands actually require!

Pros

The team was competent and the problems we worked on had real technical depth. At minimum I learned valuable things while I was there.

Cons

• Compensation reality became painfully clear within a few months. • Workloads were overwhelming with constantly overlapping projects and expanding scope. • Salary remained at entry level despite performing far above that level. • Concerns about pay were ignored with empty promises of review. • Responsibilities kept piling up with no discussion of compensation adjustments. • The amount of work delivered deserved far better pay.

Pros

Salary is decent, and my coworkers are great. I can't say the same about the leadership, though...

Cons

Sorcero is run by greedy executives who only care about generating as much profit as possible. They force employees to meet unrealistic targets without bothering to figure out whether or not what they're asking is even feasible in the first place. If you fail to live up to their expectations, lets just say you shouldn't expect to have a job by the end of the month...
