Pros

Pay is above Average, Cactus software has brand recognition

Cons

With the exception of the Pro's listed - Pretty much all the core competencies an employee would hope for in a successful organization are misaligned: Management- Inflated egos, unapproachable, inexperienced, reactive and unprofessional in so many ways- all the way up to C levels Product- No real road map, missed deployment dates, lack of qualified leadership Customers- unhappy, not referenceable and fleeing (Cactus) Employees- hard working. high stress, very low moral and fleeing Culture- it's a facade and a put on for show, Upper Management cares more about meeting investor goals and themselves and are staying for a payout- EMPLOYEES suffer from misaligned priorities

Pros

Relaxed dress code and working from home.

Cons

Where to even begin. This company was once so great to work for. It was family oriented and they cared. They wanted to see people be successful. They believed in the employees and it showed. Now, this company doesnt blink twice at employees lower than the executive team. They will preach to you up and down that they want to see their employees grow and do great things. Ha! Guess what, if your not in the Nashville club or went to College with someone on the board or have a cousin who worked for the CEO, good luck getting promoted. They hire their friends. People they know will be just like them. This company has no idea what the definition of communication is. The executive team walks around acting like they have your best interest at heart, meanwhile they are figuring out how to push some of their best employees out the door. If you disagree with them, that’s the final nail in your coffin. Guess what executive team, your not so good at hiding your ugly side. Everyone knows your agenda. I’ve seen the really good and I’ve seen the really bad. There is no coming back for this company.

Pros

The benefits were the only good thing because you got PTO first day of hiring.

Cons

Management were so not management! They were people who started with the company and got promoted to those positions due to seniority and not knowledge or experience. Would find any reason to pick with you if you just kept to yourself and did your job. They demanded you be sociable amongst the team even when they wouldn't talk to you either way or cared! Only advancement opportunities were if someone quit or was fired in a hire position. Managers don't know how to communicate at all. Are very unprofessional in every aspect along with the employees they hire. Little pay for a lot of stressful work and not necessarily stressful work but more so the environment and coworkers.
