Pros

There are ZERO pros for this employer. If I could give all Zeros I would.

Cons

The CEO and entire executive leadership are unprofessional and unreliable. They are never in sync and they continue to overpromise u realistic expectations and the employees have to suffer. Amazing to me that in the recent layoff there was no communication to the immediate managers and leaving departments down to one person with no manager and no direction is just sad and disrespectful. Not to mention they just hired a VP for one dept and still have jobs posted for other positions.

Pros

- Good PTO policy - Associates outside of Department are overwhelmingly amazing. - Flexible hours during Pandemic - Google-style workplace environment, ie relaxed, nerf guns, fooseball, etc. - Good pay vs local market (for my department) - Convenient, well located facility to other businesses. - Outside Management is highly focused with a long term plan.

Cons

- Job titles don't always match actual position responsibilities. EX: Team Lead with no supporting staff. - If your manager doesn't like you they will give you useless work to do to encourage you to leave. That way they can say you left on your own. - "Yes" man attitudes get promoted vs actual experience. - Senior Manager(s) have been retained despite verified sexual harassment on junior associates. - High alcoholism rate at corporate events. - Layoffs come out as “job eliminations” or name changes but they are actual layoffs. IE, Development. Sales. Their reposted almost a week later. - Company is growing faster than it's infrastructure can support. - Termed associates equipment are not always returned and you're allowed to save company data to your personal cloud drive. We're a Healthcare company. HIPPA?

Pros

Office is nice and the benefits are decent. 401k matching is vested from day 1.

Cons

Management is network if good old boys who lack basic leadership skills. There is no strategy, communication, or support from management. Management has no knowledge of market conditions or how to sell their products. They expect their employees to not only figure this out all on their own, but to solve major problems without the help of their superiors. If you bring major issues to their attention or need help, you are seen as weak. Rather than dealing with major issues, they would rather get rid of you and hire someone else who is none the wiser. Nobody who works at symplr can figure out how the company is still in business or how they were able to swindle investors for money to keep the company afloat. If you care about making a difference in your job and want to help a company grow, this is not the role for you.
