Last week was National Volunteer Week. This is a week dedicated to celebrating Earth Team Volunteers and their efforts to conserving our planet with Earth Day falling, Thursday, April 22nd. This volunteer group is comprised of the Ohio Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and this year’s theme was, “Volunteers Improve Today for Tomorrow.” Just a handful of the projects worked on by this incredible group: 1. Conducting National Resources Inventories (such as soil samples). 2. Planting and harvesting gardens for local food bank donations. 3. Education on conversation processes within communities. 4. Improving wildlife habitat; identifying locations with invasive species.

Last week, our Book Club met and connected over "The Guest List," by Lucy Foley. Book Club is a great way to become a part of a community with like-minded interests.
