Better everyday health starts with humanity. As a global company, we are committed to giving back to our local communities. Our volunteering programme ‘Haleon Helps’, encourages employees to volunteer time to their local communities. Our team in Colombia recently volunteered at the Banco de Alimentos de Bogotá to put together food packages to be delivered to those who need it most throughout the country. Just one example of how our teams are helping us build healthier communities around the world.

Today I set aside 30min of completely uninterrupted thinking time, to contemplate a few meetings I'd had and what my next actions needed to be to achieve the most value for Haleon. I did this while walking my dogs pictured below. I didn't ask anyone's permission, I didn't even tell anyone I was stepping away. Haleon's remote working policy allows me these moments, daily. My team and I continue to smash every OKR we're set and they too get to walk their dogs, without permission. :) - Sean Nienaber, Director, Lead Cloud Architect, Haleon

Last year we partnered with Economist Impact and supported their work to create the world’s first Health Inclusivity Index, a comprehensive programme that analyses efforts to improve health inclusivity around the world. The Health Inclusivity website was recognised for demonstrating best in class use of data visualisation by representing complex datasets in innovative, visually appealing and easily comprehensible ways. While Haleon is still a young company, some of our brands have over 170 years’ worth of history. In 1852, James Crossley Eno started to produce Eno’s Fruit Salts, which became popular with sailors to combat seasickness. Today, Eno is part of our portfolio of trusted, market leading digestive health brands. Click on the link to view some of our vintage ads!

We join the global community in supporting World Water Day. We recognise that the water used in our supply chain is a local resource shared with the communities in which we operate. As members of the Alliance for Water Stewardship, we are taking steps to ensure our usage of water is environmentally sustainable and socially equitable, aiming to achieve AWS Standard certification across our manufacturing sites by 2025. We're also taking action to achieve water neutrality at our manufacturing sites in water-stressed basins by 2030. At our site in Cape Town, South Africa, we’re supporting a water replenishment project which aims to restore 250 hectares in the local catchment area and will establish a community-run nursery growing native plants, benefiting the local ecosystem and community.
