How can a company be both brand new and over 300 years old? Haleon’s story begins in a single apothecary shop, Plough Court Pharmacy, opened in 1715 by Silvanus Bevan. They sold direct to consumers and filled prescriptions from doctors. An estimated 3.5 billion people experience oral disease globally. In line with our ambition to make everyday health more inclusive, we want to play a part in tackling this. Which is why we’re proud to be sponsoring this year’s World Oral Health Day in partnership with FDI World Dental Federation. This can be a huge barrier to improving health outcomes for women. Our Data Science team explores the role of the gender data gap in contributing to the gender health gap. Congratulations to our very own Emma Duckworth, who has been included amongst the Women in Data® Twenty in Data and Tech. Five years ago, at the launch of the Women in Data® Twenty in Data and Tech only 3% of senior leaders in Data and Tech were women. Today, that percentage has increased to 17%.
