We’re proud to join the Atlanta Hawks in celebrating 12 special Atlantans throughout this NBA season. Together, we’re recognizing the contributions of servant leaders in our community by awarding them with the ‘Forever 404 Honors presented by Sharecare.’ So far this season, we’ve named three Forever 404 honorees: Renee Montgomery, Atlanta Dream part owner and vice president, and Bally Sports South’s HAWKS LIVE analyst; Jasmine Crowe, founder and CEO of Goodr, an Atlanta-based social impact startup leveraging technology to reduce food waste and end hunger; and Isabel González Whitaker, journalist and founder of the historic Sara J. González Memorial Park. In addition to recognizing these outstanding leaders for their philanthropic work, Sharecare also is donating to causes championed by the honorees. Where it comes to helping you travel safely, we’re honored to be a partner of choice for hospitality businesses around the globe. Earlier this month, Sonesta International Hotels Corporation achieved the Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED designation across its North American portfolio. Stay Safe with Sonesta, the hotel leader’s rigorous health and cleanliness program, ensures each property meets or exceeds CDC and government requirements and guidance through Sharecare and Forbes Travel Guide’s third-party verification platform, which validate protocols and procedures to mitigate COVID-19 transmission and other public health risks. As Sonesta becomes the first large hotel company to earn this distinction portfolio-wide, we believe health security is becoming the future standard for travel and hospitality. Read more about Sharecare VERIFIED and what it means for Sonesta guests and employees below.
Happy New Year! Sharecare’s celebrating the science, reflection, kindness, and care that truly made us “all together better” this year. Watch our recount of 2021 with Sharecare CEO Jeff Arnold, joined by CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, actress Yvette Nicole Brown, and a host of other special friends as we ring in a new year of sharing care.
There’s an exciting transformation happening in Atlanta – Sharecare’s “hometown.” Last week, we joined civic, philanthropic, and local industry leaders to announce the launch of a new global health district in Midtown Atlanta – an effort we’ve been proud to support since its earliest stages. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Center for Global Health Innovation (CGHI) and a group of strategic partners with whom we’re proud to collaborate, Atlanta is poised to become the world’s leading hub for health and tech innovation, starting with one very tall first step – a 47-story tower that will serve as the heart of the district. As a physical manifestation of Sharecare’s mantra that we’re “all together better,” the district’s hub will help connect all the moving parts of global health, health technology, and life sciences, through public-private partnerships that will help us build a healthier, more sustainable future for our communities. Learn more about this new home for health innovation in the official announcement.
Big news! Sharecare was named among the year’s “most innovative companies” in pharmaceutical marketing by PM360 Magazine, which recognizes those in the industry at the leading edge of life sciences, pharmaceutical research and marketing. We’re proud of our consumer team for their work in creating best-in-class solutions for pharma industry leaders to engage patients more effectively and meaningfully; and we congratulate our incredible colleagues for this outstanding achievement, which you can read about from PM360.
At Sharecare, “All Together Better” has been our motto as we strive to collectively empower the health and well-being of every human being by connecting all the moving parts of their health experience. But beyond a simple phrase, we believe that fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion – no matter where you work, live, play, or pray – is how we truly become all together better. We know that to effect the change we want to see in the world with our employees, partners and members, we also have a responsibility to be transparent about our commitment and the actions we're taking. That's why we created a destination where you can learn more about Sharecare's longstanding philosophy and pursuit of equity and inclusivity in all we do – from our product development and research grounded in social determinants of health to our content production, community involvement, and hiring practices. As we reflect on the meaning of “sharing care,” we’re grateful for the sacrifices of military veterans and honored to join Hidden Helpers, a coalition comprised of organizations pledging to fill the gaps in support and services for caregiving military kids and youth. Recently, representatives from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation (including the former senator herself), Wounded Warrior Project, and First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden, hosted an event at The White House to shine a light on the impact of caregiving on service members' families and children while commemorating the launch of Hidden Helpers. Since 2020, CareLinx by Sharecare has contributed free respite care services – which allow military and veteran caregivers to care for their children and better manage their households – to support more than 1,600 military and veteran families nationwide. Further, Sharecare has committed to extend CareLinx's contribution to support these efforts in 2022. To us, this represents the full circle of sharing care and what it means to be all together better.
We’re rewinding to one of our favorite interviews of the year – Episode 187 of The Entrepreneur Media podcast “How Success Happens,” when Jeff unpacked the game-changing work Sharecare has been bringing to life – from health security and vaccine assistance to measuring community well-being and SDOH nationwide – and why he thinks the work our company has yet to do is just as exciting. In this special episode, host Robert Tuchman sat down with our very own founder and CEO, Jeff Arnold, to discuss his personal path and why his love for Sharecare's mission, team members, and users remains his steadfast passion. Tune in on your favorite podcast platform to hear our story as told earlier this year by Jeff.

U.S. maternal morbidity rates are the highest of any other developed country, despite ranking among the highest for maternal care spending. One of our Smart Omix team’s latest collaborations aims to change these outcomes through an important new initiative led by Scripps Research. PowerMom is a clinical research effort dedicated to empowering study participants and researchers to make discoveries that will lead to healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. With contributors like Sharecare, which is supporting the development of digital biomarkers for maternal health conditions with Smart Omix, the PowerMom consortium will not only address gaps in understanding the determinants of healthy pregnancies but also improve available care and interventions equitably.
