One of the Sharecare U.S. team’s favorite traditions is college football season! Employees celebrated the beginning of the season with tailgate parties that included game-day essentials such as BBQ, cornhole game-play and school spirit-wear.
We have many reasons to be proud at Sharecare, and we were glad to celebrate one of them at the 2019 Atlanta Pride Parade this past weekend! For our employees and our members around the world, we passionately believe in a culture of diversity and inclusivity in which every person is valued, accepted and appreciated. Take it from us: That’s what “sharing care” is all about!
Our Care Crew recently hosted a Wellness Wednesday event with the cutest guest stars! Not only did employees enjoy sweet frozen treats from King of Pops, but they also got to experience a little “puppy therapy” courtesy of Furkids – a no-kill animal shelter and rescue organization. Play time with these pups helped relieve stress for our employees, and the dogs enjoyed an afternoon of extra love, care, and belly rubs.
The American Heart Association recently visited Sharecare's Atlanta office to show employees how they can help save a life with CPR and the use of an AED. We’re grateful to partners like AHA that help us build a culture of safety and wellness for our employees through onsite training and access to first-aid resources.
Sharecare’s senior vice president of product, Toni Pashley, recently addressed the Technology Association of Georgia in a panel session on tech innovations that create great customer experiences in healthcare. When it comes to delivering on that promise, Toni told TAG members it’s about creating a unified experience that provides motivation, consistent messaging and choices to personalize the journey – matter the touchpoint or channel.
Dr. Dean Ornish, founder of Ornish Lifestyle Medicine by Sharecare, is featured in The Game Changers, a new film that follows the rise of plant-based eating in professional sports. Produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan, the documentary debunks outdated myths that athletes need animal protein to achieve peak performance, while exploring the connection between our diet and population health.
Sharecare is proud to partner with Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School’s Corporate Work Study program, which gives promising high school students valuable real-world job experience, career guidance and mentorship through internship positions at top local companies. Welcome to the team, Tay and Lupe!
Sharecare's Jen Martin Hall stops by "The Dana Barrett Show" to talk about diversity and inclusivity in the company's workforce during Converge 2019, which focused on cultures of diversity in tech and their role in driving innovation.
Last week, Sharecare president Dawn Whaley spoke at Technology Association of Georgia's Converge 2019 conference about the importance placed on diversity in Sharecare's workforce -- not simply for the company's sake, but for the sake of millions of people whose unique healthcare needs are its responsibility to serve.
