Chances are you know someone affected by heart disease and stroke because cardiovascular disease claims the lives of 1 in 3 women – that’s about one woman every 80 seconds. That’s why we joined our partners at the American Heart Association on National #WearRedDay to promote awareness and help prevent heart disease and stroke. Are you red-y for change? Visit www.goredforwomen.org to learn how you can help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and join the effort to save lives.

Throughout the holiday season, Sharecare employees around the globe have been busy “sharing care” with those in need in their communities. Baltimore-area employees coordinated more than 15 shopping trips (like the one pictured below) to support the Salvation Army Giving Program, and in Berlin, the team bought and wrapped presents for kids through local charity Die Arche. Employees in Sarasota, Boston and San Diego collected gifts for children in need through Toys for Tots donation drives, while the Atlanta team capped off their holiday gift drive for Covenant House Georgia – a shelter for homeless youth – with a holiday feast for those in shelter over the holidays.
Thanks to breakthroughs in pharmacogenomics – how your genetics affect your response to medications – we now can harness the power of data to help people more effectively manage and improve their mental health by determining the best treatment options for them. And that's why we've teamed up with Genomind. Together, we'll work to develop innovative solutions that will empower millions of people to access the care that is best for their individual mental well-being needs, right on the Sharecare app. Stay tuned for more but in the meantime, read more about our partnership and joint venture.
In the spirit of the holiday season, we’re thankful to work for a company whose mission is not only to help people live healthier, happier lives, but to also demonstrate the importance of giving back to the community. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Sharecare employees across the U.S. participated in food drives with several local charities to help provide low-income families with a nice Thanksgiving meal. Talk about “sharing care!”
For the third year in a row, Sharecare was recognized in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. In reflecting on the exceptional growth achieved over the last five years, CEO Jeff Arnold expresses gratitude "to each employee, partner and user for being on this journey with us."
Any Sharecare employee can tell you that knowing your health numbers is one of the most important parts of managing your health! So, during November – American Diabetes Month – we’re joining our partners at the American Diabetes Association by doing exactly that. We’re conducting onsite wellness screenings in Sharecare offices across the U.S. to help employees learn their vitals, which can indicate risk or presence of chronic conditions like diabetes. Everyone’s invited to join us and the American Diabetes Association by taking the first step to learn your numbers and have a conversation with your doctor. Can we count you in?
