An important part of ocean health is making sure that the seafood we eat and purchase comes from sustainable sources. Every seafood product in our stores has to meet criteria around environmental sustainability - we do our homework so that our customers don’t have to worry about how to make the right choice when it comes to seafood. Choose seafood as a healthy meal this week in celebration of #WorldOceansDay and learn more about our commitment to sustainable seafood.
What makes a family? First and foremost, LOVE. At The GIANT Company, we're honored to help all families connect every day. Love is love. Happy #Pride Month!
The GIANT Company stands unequivocally against racism and opposes discrimination. We stand for racial equality and this is the future we dream of for our communities. We stand together with our black team members, customers & communities to change that, and it starts with acknowledgement. We know we're not alone in this, and are listening and learning...really listening and learning. And part of that, is investing in solutions. In partnership with Ahold Delhaize USA and its other local brands, we're committing $5 million toward racial equality efforts. In addition to the many other diversity and inclusion efforts underway at The GIANT Company, we will work with associate and community partners to support education, advocacy, and business development within the Black and African American community. Real change starts with families. Stronger families make stronger communities, which makes a stronger world. Our purpose, Connecting Families For A Better Future, is rooted in this hope, and we will never relent in chasing it.

The honor, reserved for an elite group of produce professionals nationwide, recognizes John's commitment to fresh produce, innovative merchandising, community service, and customer satisfaction. Congratulations, John and thank you for all that you do for your team, customers, and community!

Since the shutdown began, the organization has provided more than 50,000 meals to those in need, with many more on the way. The GIANT Company is proud to partner with founder Evan Ehlers and his team to get good, surplus food to those who need it most and reduce food waste.

When National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week collide, you have to celebrate in a big way! So, we packed our airstream with goodies and headed to Penn State Health in Hershey, PA. It was an honor to surprise these most-deserving frontline heroes with flowers, snacks, beauty products, and of course, coffee as a sign of our appreciation for all that they do to keep our community healthy, during the pandemic and every day. Thank you!
