Pros

The people that work in my division are great to deal with and most are very hard working. Unusual for a mega company, the leadership actually seems to care about their employees.

Cons

It's a mega company so local leadership is beholden to the ideas of upper management that are hundreds of miles away. What's needed to win a project in terms of staffing and GC cost is rarely even in the same ballpark as what is needed to perform the project. Projects get delayed up front and rarely is there a resulting extension of time. As a result project staffing suffers and the minimal staff that is placed on the project has to pull the work load to make up for these issues.

Pros

The benefits package is fairly decent - standard to the industry.

Cons

Leadership is really bad. Lots of problems with projects in the West Region (specifically Northern California) - leadership steps in to try to solve those problems but only makes things worse. Then leaves the office with no leadership. Just a complete mess. Lots of turnover. Hiring people left and right, but not training them or giving anyone any direction - then laying them off. I really wouldn't accept a job here - high likelihood that you'll be laid off fairly quickly. Company is doing badly in an up economy.

Pros

The people at the heart of this service-first company are the best; they put the client's needs first, understand employee engagement and civic service are essential to community engagement, and work together to achieve quality in all that they do.

Cons

Currently going through significant organizational growing pains at the senior management level, trying to transition from a long-time beloved chairman and CEO to a new team of senior leaders. Corporate dysfunction between select senior leaders continues to cause friction.
