Horrible company to work for

Pros

No pros at all working for this place.

Cons

Don’t work for this company. Management is terrible. Training is terrible. They overwork their employees and underpay them. This company only cares about making money and adding more work to their employees. They don’t give raises while adding more to your job. They only care about numbers and not the well being of their employees. This company burns out their employees. They place blame on their employees for anything that goes wrong. The higher ups does not take accountability for their wrong doings. They’re peer to peer reviews they like to tear the staff down they don’t praise their staff for keeping the company together they rip you apart and make you feel like you’re not doing enough. The training is terrible as well. They don’t properly train you for your role. A lot of new staff quit while in training. They can’t keep employees. People are quitting left and right. Centivo only cares about the dollar and not the well being of the people that help run this company day in and out. I would recommend not to work for this company. You will be burned out and mentally drained every day. This job is not enjoyable. They placed blame on their entire staff in a meeting when their phone software kept messing up telling the entire staff it’s their wifi. So you’re telling me that every single person that lives in different homes wifi is the reason for the phone software is messing up? Makes absolutely no sense. They have a low amount of staff answering phones and the call volumes are through the roof where the staff can’t handle the call volume. They set unrealistic goals. They have a “training” on a Friday and tell you a new group is starting that Monday. You’re thrown to the wolves. Management does not help with questions and when you do get a hold of someone they really don’t want to help and basically tell you to figure it out. When someone wants to speak with a supervisor they make a bunch of excuses as to why they can’t take the call. There is no room for growth or raises. This company makes more than enough money to give raises, they’re just cheap. With the way inflation is people are struggling to stay a float with no pay increase. They treat their staff like they’re robots. Whatever you do don’t work for centivo.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our work environment. We strive to provide a positive workplace and take your input seriously – as is reflected in our commitment to our engagement survey process and our high engagement scores. Since your comment we have held employee focus groups to obtain more detailed feedback as well. In 2024 we are hiring 4 Member Care classes and have already had 14 reps successfully complete training. This will help significantly reduce call volume and stress on our team. This will also improve our client and member experience. Additionally, we have invested in enhancing training, process documentation, systems and leadership development so that our team members have the tools and resources needed to succeed!

Pros

Pay was ok and some people I worked with were not awful.

Cons

Toxic culture. Just read the responses they have to their bad reviews and they tell you everything you need to know.

Centivo does value all feedback, whether positive or constructive, as it causes us to reflect on how to get better and things we do need to fix. As I have shared with others who have posted critical reviews, our semiannual engagement survey, which we recently just completed, serves as a crucial platform for our employees to share their insights anonymously. In addition, this past summer, we conducted 12 focus groups where team members could share feedback directly with Ashok our CEO. We encourage team members to participate in such surveys and focus groups to help us identify areas that require attention and improvement. I have not to date heard anything of a similar nature in response to our engagement survey, in our focus groups or expressed directly to any member of management. I do wish your experience with Centivo better matched your expectations. If you wish to have a direct conversation with me, a member of our leadership team, or a member of our People Team to provide further feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out directly. Since others do read these, I do want to correct some factual statements: 1. There are many in the organization that tried to work with you to accommodate your requests. When we consider those efforts alongside our high engagement results, we don’t feel that is consistent with having a toxic culture. 2. And personally, as the person that writes these comments myself, I've reviewed my past comments and stand behind them as accurate.

Difficult Workplace

Pros

Cool product, most want to genuinely help our customers

Cons

Very severe issues with communication and company culture. There is a lack of long-term focus because the whole company is putting out fires. Burn out is real and no one seems to care.

Thank you for the feedback. Reviews like this are always tough to read. We did just complete our engagement survey and hope you felt comfortable sharing this feedback there. Any member of the leadership team would be open to talking directly if you feel comfortable.
