Pros

As it stands with the current situation of the company and offerings, I completely agree with the previous review posted on October 25, 2016 titled, "Not bad - but the potential to do better is obvious, which is frustrating." Truer words have never been spoken. For the most part, the people are great, but leadership is lacking in nurturing their employees. The term "helicoptering" pinpoints the exact description of what to expect in certain departments. Even to the extent of micro-managing.

Cons

This is a great company to start your entry level experience. However, if you want career growth, mentoring, and opportunities, you should look elsewhere. Micro-managing seems to be the norm here. It's concerning that they are creating other leaders to micromanage and act like that is how good leadership is. Finding good leadership at a company challenging. You may not find this here right now.

Pros

The company is growing quickly and email marketing software is highly sought-after. The company offers a variety of entry level positions, especially in support and sales development with opportunities for growth. Offices located in Atlanta, Fargo, and Greenville. The company has large goals for the coming year -- anticipating more positive growth changes. Recent benefits and PTO adjustments were positive and will be implemented in late 2016. Benefits still not as great as larger software/tech companies, but they are getting better.

Cons

There is not currently a dedicated HR manager or office manager for the US offices, which is alarming to me given the amount of new hires we have. Not enough training is given at the beginning for new hires. This is a challenging product to learn if you do not have experience with CRM. This is very much "sink or swim". Managers of certain teams are not held accountable for their behavior towards their teams; managing styles of "helicoptering/hovering" seem to be acceptable for certain managers, even though this is completely counterproductive. Culture is majorly lacking, with minimal leadership -- literal years went by without any regular culture initiatives or company events except a holiday party towards the end of each year. No alcohol at any company function. Period. -- For some people, this is normal, but this is a company that has always prided themselves as a "fun startup" and does not have a startup culture at all. There is minimal mingling between departments, there are no introductions when new hires begin anymore, minimal initiatives to socialize or volunteer from the company.
