Pros

There are no pros to being here. Find a company that will actually appreciate you.

Cons

Excessive micromanaging, upper management lacks cannabis knowledge and experience, pay is substandard, passive aggressive environment.

Pros

The pay is decent for the corporate office. However at the store level it is understaffed, underpaid, and employees are routinely mocked while being treated as less than by upper management.

Cons

Where do I begin The president of Curaleaf AZ refers to his customers as “Junkies who are just looking to get high”. The office is run more as a frat house than a business. In my short time with the company I heard highly inappropriate conversations that were misogynistic, juvenile, disrespectful to staff and consumers alike, inter office rumors where everyone talked about everyone.

Pros

Awesome people work in the dispensaries, good place to learn the basics.

Cons

When Curaleaf bought Swell everything went downhill. All the good people were either fired, have quit, or are actively job searching since they hate this place so much. Unrealistic sales goals are placed on the store teams, and then you're put on a performance improvement plan when you can't reach said goals. I've worked for a lot of big companies in my day, so I get it- upselling is nothing new- but usually theres a district mgr or someone who visits the stores to coach & develop people. Not here- everyone at the corporate offices sit in their ivory tower all day- there's no personal engagement, no effort to help teach or train staff. Swell cared about it's employees and customers- the higher ups at that time realized THAT was the key to success. But not Curaleaf- the only thing they care about it the fastest way to make a buck. The quality of the product continues to decline and when you add that to higher prices & lackluster promotions, well it's a no-brainer on why customers are spending less and/or not returning at all. Oh and btw, forget about ever being promoted to a corporate position- this is the good ole boys club- fake positions get posted with no intention of ever hiring good quality people that actually have experience.
