Large customer base, friendly hard working employees, nice Christmas party

Cons

CEO is classic micromanager (checks on expense reports for staff 3 levels below him), low pay for average employee, products are using old technology, lack of vision for the future, product quality is poor (high return rates), CEO thinks quality is OK, no employee recognition, culture is all work no play, high employee turnover

Free parking - if you drive to work Average extended benefits package available after 3 months of probationary period Summer monthly BBQ lunch, monthly birthday cakes, a small onsite gym studio Opportunities to witness what dictatorship means, how it impacts an organization's operations from top to mid-level management, eye opener Opportunities to work with a very unique payroll administrator who would sometimes went out of her way to cost saving for the company There will be a lot of meetings at which you can learn and practice, and to improve your presentation skills, without worrying about getting any decisions made, action items assigned

You might get hired for your qualification and get fired for being over qualified for the same qualification within a year

Pros

Stable company with over 30 years in business. Lots of really nice employees who want the business to continue to succeed.

Cons

There seems to be a significant disconnect between senior leaders and the ‘shop floor’. Employees seem afraid to speak up when given the opportunity. Leadership doesn’t respond or react when employees speak up.
