I've seen some inappropriate and shady behavior in prior companies but nothing like I witnessed at Exiger. Comments that weren't even acceptable in the 80's loom in conversations here by VPs and meet no consequences if brought to management. Long-term employees that fly under the radar Money to pay for MAGA events and front row seating but no money for bonuses - read the writing of who is really in charge here. CEO spends more time taking to TV cameras then with his employees. Why are there over 3 dozen job postings following a 100+ layoff right before the holidays - and how many of those were VPs???

First of all, I highly recommend avoiding this place if you want to apply as a Chinese speaker, the teams you interact with seemingly only exist for the purpose of power tripping juniors and contradicting each other. Although this is an American company, you will be met with the same hierarchical spirit and lack of empathy that Chinese companies/management have. Second of all, the performance appraisal system is a joke and raises are extremely modest for a company that praises itself constantly for its expansion and achievements. There are no real vertical advancement opportunities, and you will be left with virtually nothing after moving away from the job, as management bait you with external certification opportunities and ignore the requests completely after. As other reviews have mentioned, somehow they had a 250k budget for donating to the Trump inaugural committee, but no possibility for raises that at least cover local inflation (for the year 2024) Lastly, 0 willingness to accept mistakes or inefficiencies at organizational or management level, somehow things are always twisted to be the fault of junior researchers. Quite the fascinating skill honestly, if you enjoyed playing among us you might like it here as everyone is constantly waiting to catch you doing a wrong move
