in dantes inferno, there are nine circles of purgatory (glassdoor blocks the other word). working in the silver spring office feels much like experiencing that journey to its greatest extent.
if you accept a job at this company do not anger any of the cliques that exist. Making one person mad will mean you dont work on more important work. Your career at exiger will dead end and you will be internally done.
every office has territories but this office is defined by them. learn those well and make sure you dont go against the wrong people. pettiness is key and to most degrees change how you fit in this office. dont make any one in middle management mad cause they will come at you if you do
the company is toxic in nearly every way and i would tell you to avoid it. it doesnt matter what you know and it only matters who you know.
almost everyone here is a coward who will not say anything to you but will dismiss you off to your manager behind your back. expect to have people talk about you and not to you.
