Pros

Worked in the same location for many years. The staff was like a second family to me. Looked forward to going back every year. I liked the fact that they would work with me on my schedule as I worked a full time job elsewhere.

Cons

Big turnover in office managers. Almost a new one every year. Sometimes hard to get supplies even when we ordered way in advance.

Pros

I love working for H&R Block. My co-workers are great, and it's a really nice atmosphere. There is opportunity for personal and professional growth, including online courses that you can take through the company. The schedule is flexible enough for students, single parents, etc., and they are great about working with you when things come up. Everyone is supportive of each other. It really feels like a family, and I can't wait to come back each year.

Cons

The pay is not that great- it seems to be a little on the low end (though it may be partially because of the current economy). Not minimum wage, but not quite a living wage, either. Other than that, no real complaints.
