Pros

It's seasonal. I know others might consider this a 'con," but who would want to work in such a negative environment year 'round?

Cons

Back biting tax preparers harassing the Client Service Professionals about not getting enough clients and trying to "steal" another tax pro's clients. Wages are barely above minimum wage. The public can be nasty and demanding. Software freezes up a lot causing problems setting appointments, doing the taxes and taking the payments.

Pros

Working at H & R Block works well with flexibility. you can set your schedule as you are available. If you need more work hours, you can switch to different locations TO MAKE MORE MONEY! If you have a day job, work at night, if you are in school, work after school. the schedule works wonders for me. The environment is very friendly, we're all like FAMILY!

Cons

Working with different people, different personalities, different attitudes is all part of being a peoples person. co workers and clients can play a part in some days frustration. other than that its GREAT!
