Upper Management/HR Management: Just ask how many NDAs and payoffs they have done in the past 10 years just to leave the same people covering each others tracks.. favoritism runs rampant... and who knows how many #metoo stories..

Great if you like working in a HOSTILE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

I started at HGVC excited for the opportunities. While I got along very well with my direct supervisor, the other women in my department were the cattiest, most unprofessional group of women of which I've ever been involved. They are led by one woman who talks about you behind your back, and, if you are the least bit attractive - watch out! She will "have it out for you"...and then get all the other women there to dislike you as well. My boss literally told me they didn't like me. And this is just business as usual - the girl prior to my start date was fired because "they" didn't like her(she just tried to do her job, but she wasn't a part of the "in-crowd"), and they basically bullied her out. Same with me, and same with my successor. We've all spoken about it. It's a hostile working environment and charges will be brought on these accounts.

Culture in HR needs serious improvement.

The hotel discount is a great perk.

Cons

HR management is a terrible representation of the industry. Many of the management representatives (not leaders) should be disciplined or dismissed due to behavioral concerns, however it is rewarded with high salaries.
