Pros

The company is great and the employees!!

Cons

Management/ Director don't know how to treat their employees!!! They yell and scream at their employees in front of others . Management jumps into conclusions without asking first. They don't follow Hilton values at all!! So many things happen in that department and Mark Wang and Mike Brown have no idea!! They really need to go talk to those employees and have one on ones with them. Those employees don't speak out because they have gone to HR and HR don't do anything. The Director is friends with HR. So of course HR has her back. And they get away with everything. It's sad I loved this company. Mark Wang and Mike Brown need to go and really check out that department. It's so sad !!

Pros

- Benefits start day 1. - If you're a manager, you get unlimited vacation. - Member discounts at Hilton properties (sometimes $40 rooms). - Remote positions available.

Cons

From the experience of a remote employee: - If you have issues with your pay, you'll be given a 1-888 number to call. You have to figure out the benefits/HR stuff on your own. - No culture or team building (orientation was 1.5 hours). - 50+ hours/week expected (never formally stated, but is corporate norm and expected in IM&A) - Toxic leadership, will belittle you in front of your peers - Micromanagement. Also expect to report to multiple managers. - Near zero cross-functional collaboration. Norm is for BU's to operate in silos. - Every project is an emergency and needs completed within unreasonable time frames. - No employee safety or engagement teams.

Pros

Short hours, discounted employee stays.

Cons

No one wants to buy timeshares. It’s 100% commission based almost entirely on luck. When you quit they withhold up to 3500 of your paycheck for 6 months citing standard operating procedures. Some paper you sign when you get hired that you don’t notice you’re being hoodwinked into some bs. And even after the 6 months they take money out of what’s owed to you citing more bs. Run far far away , you will waste valuable time.
