Pros

I actually brag about working at HomeServe now, which is something I probably wouldn't have done a few years ago. The culture at HomeServe is totally focused around Customers, People and Communities. It's such a caring company, which has a lot to offer anyone who wants to be part of the HomeServe family. Where else will you get an open environment, full of empowerment and engagement of People at every single level?

Cons

It is quite a demanding and complex environment to work in, but you do get a lot of support if you need it

Hey there, Thanks for such a positive review! It's one thing for People to be happy working here but to read that they brag about it is even better! We're all about creating advocates out of our employees, they're the ones who help us tell others about the brilliant story that we are on. With any job that you have, work will be demanding and complex at times but that is what makes it a worthwhile challenge, right? As you've said, there's always support should you need it, with that in mind, if you ever want to discuss anything or indeed need a hand, feel free to pop along and have a chat with us. Stefan

Pros

I have been working in Homeserve for nearly 13 years, I have worked in different departments in the business from outbound to inbound and now On demand where I help customers with a solution to their emergencies or repairs, it’s been the first time ever that I decided that I want to have a 121 with our CMO Greg Reid I was very nervous at first however he made me feel at ease, Greg always promotes us to have 121s on his GBUs which is a great opportunity for everyone to have some quality time with him and ask for help an guidance where you need it most, this allowed me to ask lots of questions as to what I can do to improve my ability to do more with myself and having the confidence that I need to improve my skills and to better myself. He gave me some really good advice and what I needed to do and started the ball rolling for me. After literally 10 minutes after my 121 I had a email that I have a mentor to help me which is Bryn really pleased with the outcome so quickly, I have an appointment with Bryn next week he was pleased to actually help me. I can’t believe how quick this was done. Our directors in Homeserve really keep to our peoples promises this defiantly shows that they Dare to care Always improving and most importantly Winning together an trusting each other. Thank you

Pros

I have worked for several large insurance companies in management roles over the last 20 years - and I can say, without exception, that Homeserve is the best company to work for. From the facilities (little things like free parking, free tea/coffee etc are often overlooked!), to the values, to the clear direction and goals - but, most importantly, focus on the Customer. My role involves looking at the business through the eyes of the Customer, and giving feedback - both positive and negative, to improve current processes, and to highlight areas of high effort. No other company does this - has management and staff who live by these values, and who have invested so much in technology that is specifically designed to improve the CX. Keep up the good work. Consistency and innovation are key

Cons

Nothing major - just keep listening to the Customer facing staff - they often have all the answers you need to improve

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We’re really happy you’re on board with our values and you feel our People are also. We’re on an exciting journey at HomeServe and our culture is a big part of that. Hopefully you’ve managed to attend a Big Conversation or a daily Customer First session, each of which help us to learn how we can have the biggest impact for our Customers.
