Pros

Lots of skilled and caring people who want to do the best for our patients, and sometimes a culture that supports that. A good focus on quality of care.

Cons

Finances are tough and leadership is using sneaky sometimes even dishonest ways to avoid talking about the layoffs that are happening.

Pay and benefits need to be better. Otherwise pretty good place to work.

Pros

Management is pretty good (depends on location however) and company culture/policy is great.

Cons

Pay and benefits need to be better. Pay raises do not keep up with inflation in the Portland area and there are no merit raises unless you are a nurse. Seems like benefits like pension and education reimbursement are slowly being phased out. Raises are much lower than cost of living and basic inflation rates. Employees who stay with the company for years and gain valuable experience in their field are not rewarded. You are better off finding a job somewhere else and get paid what you are worth.
