Pros
Decent salary and benefits. Smile and nod your head a lot, and you'll have excellent job security. Great work-life balance once you realize there is nothing to be gained by working hard, but keep up the appearance that you are.
Cons
Company is a cult of the CEO, who thinks he walks on water and micromanages even the smallest decisions, which he will impulsively change, then change again. Promotions given only to the select favored few who bend the knee. Results don't matter (as evidenced by the stagnant stock price), only that you play well with others. People have no incentive to work hard, because they know whatever they do will be undone by the CEO's next impulsive change of direction. CEO complains about low productivity, but doesn't have a clue why this is the case.

good benefits and caring people. coworkers are all in this together trying to stay afloat among all the insanity

No excitement about anything. You are punished if you try to be innovative or take any kind of risks. Just blah working environment with terrible culture that trusts no one. Toxic. By far the worst management team I have ever experienced in my professional career. I have no idea how the Board allows this to happen year after year. Zero energy and a completely out of touch CEO, Eng brother and executive team. All the good people have left years ago. Don't even bother working hard because no one cares and the executive team has no desire to hear feedback anyway. An overall depressing and sad place to work especially because there is still such potential, but all hopes and creativity are crushed by overwhelmingly same poor decisions year after year after year.

Generally good to employees. Benefits are good. Flexible work schedule. Management is generally very accommodating and easy to work with. It's a good place to work.
Cons
Don't expect a raise, ever. Get what you can up front and be happy with that.

"Lean but not mean" approach means job security is never really a question. Competitive salaries. Good benefits. Smart people to work with and learn from.

The pay and benefits are above average for the industry. The corporate culture is mostly pretty good. My managers have always treated me and my co-workers fairly.
Cons
Unless you are one of the chosen few at the top, you will NEVER be promoted beyond the position you are hired for. They DO NOT promote from within. You have employees that have been in the same positions for 20 years or more being managed by people who've been with the company for only a year or 2, and upper management expects the seasoned veterans to train their managers.
