DON'T DO IT

Pros

Some cool people. Free food every now and then. Happy hour and outings. You get away with being completely incompetent and useless.

Cons

Every manager possible. The CEO is completely out of touch. Managers, such as myself, have zero experience and no business being a manager.

We appreciate your honest feedback on our company. Having an effective management team is key to the success of any company and we have taken steps to ensure that current and new Managers are trained to help their teams thrive. We recently signed a highly recommended Professional Training firm to conduct a formal Management training program and we are going to roll this out to every Manager in the company. In response to feedback from our employees, we have also created our “Culture Committee”. This committee is made up of representatives from each of our Departments and they are tasked with voicing the ideas, questions, and concerns of their colleagues and partner with Leadership to make meaningful improvements to our culture.

Pros

If you like an easy, cushy job that requires very little effort, this is great.

Cons

This job is like high school. Management is extremely two-faced and petty, not providing constructive feedback. Management repeatedly made employees work in conditions that were a violation of the health code, didn't pay for hours worked or differentials, did not compensate for vacation, and didn't honor company policies. In an attempt to deceive workers, managers made up policies to insult, demean, degrade, and humiliate workers. Management has a reputation for being the primary reason for employees moving elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. Here at Pager, we believe a better consumer experience leads to better decisions, better outcomes, and healthier lives. In an effort to make sure that our entire team is focused on and aware of these goals we have bi-weekly All Hands meetings with our senior leadership. These interactive meetings provide an opportunity to hear about priorities, goals, and updates from our CEO as well as our Department Leaders.
