Pros

It's better than collecting unemployment.

Cons

The positive reviews are definitely coerced and written by Managers. Unfortunately all of the negative reviews are true. Leadership is allowed to lie, manipulate and gossip about their employees. A lot of work is done sneaking around to catch anyone doing something wrong, rather than coaching and helping people succeed. HR spends an extraordinary amount of time firing people. There is absolutely no recourse or action taken when an employee is treated unfairly by a manager. Lot's of backstabbing and gossiping about others. People are beaten down and unmotivated to stay in this toxic environment.

While we are not happy to hear you didn't have an ideal experience working at Reputation.com, we want to remind you and our readers that not every employee shares this experience. While it may seem as if no one could enjoy a company when you are not happy in your own role, the experiences of our employees are not consistently negative. We encourage all of our employees to come to HR with feedback - unprofessional behavior that creates an unpleasant work environment for our employees can only be addressed when reported. We wish you'd given us an opportunity to improve things for you, but hope you have landed somewhere that is a better fit for your needs. Best of luck!

Pros

-Caltrain Pass -I guess the lunches are decent

Cons

After the "split" things made a horrible turn for the worse. -Management doesn't care about keeping happy employees they only care about bodies in chairs. -The turn-over rate is that of a fast-food restaurant, and everyone seems so miserable and only here for a pay check. -Nobody is trained, they are thrown to the sharks and punished if they do wrong. -It's a 10 year old company but they still call themselves a "start-up", which seems to be just an excuse to change procedures last minute and get punished for not knowing. On that note, the communication between management to employee and even worse, RWC to AZ is catastrophic. -If you go above and beyond don't expect to be treated any differently than if you do the bare minimum. No recognition., only punishment. -Management is abusive and they bully to the point of needing to seek therapy. Management shouldn't be allowed to gossip and bully, that sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. As other reviews have mentioned, this is a toxic environment stay far, far away. Plenty of other companies in the Bay Area who pride themselves on happy employees.

We are sorry you are not having an ideal experience at Reputation.com. If you feel you are being bullied or in any way mistreated at work, please let us know via confidential email to hr@reputation.com so that we can take action to stop this behavior. We have seen reduction in our turnover numbers after the split from ReputationDefender, and Management is listening to and taking action on feedback from Glassdoor. Thank you for letting us know we still have work to do, and again do not hesitate to come to HR to discuss further so we can work to improve your individual experience - life is too short to feel this way about your job.

Good workers end up leaving

Pros

You can be successful here if you have a certain kind of personality. Nice perks, lunches, snacks, events, train pass. "Smart" people in leadership.

Cons

Though intelligent and talented, management can be very arrogant and rarely listens to mid or lower level employees. In general, employees are treated like disposable commodities, which leads to high turnover, which reinforces management's belief that they can just replace people constantly. Management tends to deal with things by just getting rid of people if they haven't already left.
