- Great company overall - work/life balance is great - I love my co-workers and managers are decent but communication is never sustainable - benefits are great

I fear for job security, and I hope if it does come to that it is with good notice for the sales department. My goal is to be with root 5 years plus. It is selective transparency when it comes to money, commission structure is ridiculous. No, manager ever knows what’s going on. When you reach out to HR, they refer you to your manager who doesn’t know nothing. Their favorite phrase is “ we are working on the issue.” Managers are leaving left and right on the sales side, upper management came over together and promotes based off god knows what. Race is a factor here, my white colleagues move up faster than the African Americans with root. ( depending on management ) …

Still working as a start-up. Everything is based off of product when it should be based on compliance. Feels like reactive instead of proactive.
