Pros

Technicians and CSR's were mostly great people. If you want to become a technician it's a great place to learn without any real consequences for destroying a customer's car.

Cons

Upper management is lazy and has extremely unreasonable expectations. Also, they are a monopoly that pretends to be the best but the reality is; without their insurance manipulation/steering they would be broke.

Pros

Salary and location is close, weekly pay

Cons

Short lunches, short breaks, you don't get very many hours of leave, you don't get paid if you don't have leave and you are exposed to COVID and it's mandatory you stay home for 10 days. Training is short and not thorough. Some of the employees in other departments that are supposed to assist you are rude.

Pros

You get paid weekly, Safelite will work with school if you present an accredited school schedule. Calls are easy after you learn all the basics. This is a good job if you’re coming out of high school but if you’re 25+ and older (only use this as a second job-they barely switch you to full time)

Cons

-Part time only -Recruiters & Staff say you’re eligible for full-time after 6 months but unfortunately that is not the case. When you put through request for full time it will always get denied. (You can only get full time hours ONLY WHEN extra hours are offered) -High turnover due to management and LACK OF HOURS. -If you have serious bills to pay (Rent, Car, utilities etc) only use this job as a second job because you WILL struggle financially if this is your only job (since they only do part-time) -You will be lucky enough to see $300-$400 weekly net pay. -Work from home infrastructure is bad, they send you home with outdated equipment and if the I.T service desk cannot help the issue you will be required to call the call off line since you have to commute to the office to finish your shift. -The attendance policy states “occurrences will fall off after 60 days”, this is not true. Management always explains the policy incorrectly and before you know it you’re already close to a final warning. -This job is only good for a second job.
