Pros

You will be employed You will be payed for your work You will have healthcare If you work in campaign operations, you will work with great people

Cons

You will have no work life balance, but will be shamed for working overtime as it goes out of scope, despite the whole reason for working so many hours being the amount of work put on your plate Your pay will be magnitudes below market, raises will be as minimal as they can get away with, and bonuses are dependent on the people at the top not messing things up any further so don't hold your breath Your healthcare benefits will be minimal and decrease in coverage and quality for the cost as time goes on You will watch the great people you work with be abused by clients with no intervention from leadership, spin their wheels trying to execute on last minute or poorly prepared requests, and burn out as they continue to "consolidate" teams, asking every person to do more and more with less and less

Thank you for your feedback and perspective. You have given a lot in your review, and I invite you to contact me directly to address the multiple items herein. Many things you have posted about are not exactly as you have described, but I understand and respect your perspective, and I will look to how we can make sure that we do a better communications job to help employees understand things in our PTO plan and what we are doing with our survey results. We have work to do on this, and I thank you for the direction of continued work we can do to better our culture for all employees. I wish you the best in whatever is next for you, and please feel free to reach out to me anytime. -Michelle Hytry, Director of HR

Pros

The people at SP are passionate about their work. No one is phoning it in, and they currently have many skilled individuals. If you would like to learn a new skill, they'll support you. Additionally, the unlimited PTO is actually honored, and no one gets mad if you take time off.

Cons

With the acquisition of LeadMD in 2021, the company's 'family first' and 'people first' mentalities definitely have fallen apart, leaving a toxic environment. If you are a manager or above, so many senior individuals have left that there's a total power vacuum. No one knows what is happening, or should happen. Who is on a project? Who knows! When is x VP getting backfilled? No idea! How many hours are we expected to bill? No clue! How much time has been allocated for QA or Project Management? Probably none. It's a problem. Sales still needs people to do the work, but there is little structure to how it's assigned, and even less throughout departments. Some people have had half a dozen or more managers in the last 2 years. I do appreciate that recently, the company is working to change the toxic changes-- there is a new CEO, and they are restructuring the way of working to be more transparent and easier on everyone. That being said, it's the third restructuring in a year. Projects are being completed by a skeleton crew, and there have been at least 20 people who have quit in the last 6 months, a majority of whom have not been properly backfilled.

Thank you very much for your review and while we always love good reviews, we own up to the not-so-great ones too. Why? We so appreciate your candor in this review, we can only get better with feedback, good and bad. We appreciate that you feel this is "for the time being", meaning things can get better. Things will get better, Liz Ross our new CEO has committed to putting people first above all else. It is in our Goals for the first half of 2022 and is one of our company values. Tides are turning, we know that it will take hard work but we are committed to it. We are working very hard to refill positions and add staff to areas that need staff. We hope you are too committed and want to invite you to meet with anyone in HR you feel comfortable with to share more insight and suggestions. Again thank you!
