Pros

Great job for your resume to break into tech support. They hire literally anyone. the lack of troubleshooting documentation was great preparation for Boston Start-up culture.

Cons

-No transparency -Doesn't listen to employees or take them seriously -HR has practices that make it actually dangerous for your safety to report sexual harassment, by telling the person who reported them and allowing pushback to happen in office. -If you are 2 second late it counts the same on your attendance as being 6 hours late. -Most of the management all worked together in a bar before and those people receive a lot of special treatment. -Women: Be ready to be inappropriately hit on, and be ready for no action from HR unless you have overwhelming evidence it happened, especially if it was someone from the management clique. this wasn't a one time thing, it was deeply ingrained in the culture there.

Pros

$15/hr starting salary, 5 days PTO plus accumulation over time, Affordable health insurance.

Cons

You will not receive a raise unless it is through promotion (no raises for anyone based longevity or merit). Management is selected through favoritism rather than competency or skill. Sexual Harassment and abuse is a regularity; while management might move an employee away from their abuser, the abuser is regularly allowed to remain part of the company, which includes people in positions of management. Feedback is asked for and rejected, loyal workers are fired for minuscule reasons, and the work environment encourages employees to work themselves to exhaustion, burnout, or illness.

Pros

No dress code Good location Decent benefits package Great culture in regards to LGBTQ+ policies It's not a scam job like many you find

Cons

Everyone is paid the same No raises unless promoted Double standards about policies (attendance etc) Management takes forever to make decisions for promotions, which causes leadership vacuum issues. Management doesn't cut the dead weight when until it is too late. Favoritism in the promotion process. No easy way to apply for positions outside of whatever department you are in. There are always rumors about bedbugs that never end. Management only talks to employees when something may wind up exploding or does explode. They run on chromebooks that constantly crash. Since it's a security company it basically preys on fear to sell it's product.
