Pros

They feed you weekly, good bonus, great benefits.

Cons

They promote the laziest pepole imaginable who set the wrong example and are horrible for morale. Also finding problems and sabing the company time and space as well as money gets you disliked by the incompetent upper management that feels embarrassed and would rather it done wrong and inefficiently to save face.

We are very proud of the benefits we offer our employees, I am glad to hear that you feel the same! That being said, I am not happy to hear you had some negative experiences with management. This is definitely not the behavior that we support and to hear that you saw anything less than amazing leadership is very concerning to us. I encourage you to reach out to us directly to discuss this further. We appreciate your honest input.

Pros

* Not Overwhelming , but it can get super intense when deadlines need to be met and coffee is not refilled * Freedom to take your laptop home, so you have more control over your work load. * A lot of trust and support (when you ask for it, closed mouths don't get fed) * Its like a celebration every Friday when 5pm comes around and beer is beautifully displayed in the kitchen. * Work life balance is manageable if you are a time management focused person, if not then its still okay, as long as you show up and DO YOUR JOB.

Cons

*Starting Salary wage challenges your money management skills, especially if you live in Boston and in between apt arrangements *Sometimes drama can happen when there is lack of communication; however, things usually get resolved once everyone gets on the same page.

Pros

I started at Simplisafe as a call center customer service representative. In six months, I was promoted to Lead, and in another six months, I was promoted to Supervisor. In the call center, the best part of working there are the following: 1. Upward mobility. If you have the skills and work ethic, it is very easy to move up in the call center. 2. Flexible hours - there are 2 shifts in the call center, Days (9am-6pm) and Nights (3pm-12am) so you have the ability to go to class or take care of kids. After about 2 years as a Supervisor, I was looking for something new. The Finance Department was just creating the Fraud Prevention department. I'm now the Senior Fraud Analyst. There is a large difference in culture from the call center to the corporate departments. But the best parts are: 1. Flexible Work - You can work from home when the need arises. And as the corporate workers are all salary, you are not tied to a punch clock, so long as your work gets done. 2. Catered Food - there is a bagel and cream cheese breakfast every Thursday morning and a catered lunch every other Friday. It really encourages camaraderie between the departments.

Cons

From working both in the customer service department and the corporate world, I have seen most of what the company has to offer. The cons, 1. Poor Communication between Departments - This is especially true in the call center. For example, when Marketing releases a coupon or a sale, the sales and tech support representatives might not know about until a customer calls in asking about it. 2. Sometimes the corporate departments can be clique-y. I realize it's something humans do, but, it is kind of annoying.

Thank you so much for you thoughtful feedback! Watching our employees grow and thrive within SimpliSafe makes us so proud. We also see these communication issues as something to work on. After going through periods of extreme growth it became apparent that we needed to find new ways to communicate that fit our size and speed more appropriately. As we continue to work on this throughout 2019 I hope you will keep sharing your thoughts!
