Pros
-Paid training -Great opportunities for working overtime for more money because it’s offered frequently -The pay is nice for a full time job. -Qualifications for hiring are minimal, it’s not difficult to be hired and in general the job is easy to learn there’s a lot of help included. -It’s work from home permanently.
Cons
No opportunities for further promotions: even for employees who have been working at the company for several years and when someone IS promoted it is favoritism, an employee who I literally helped learn how to do our job since his first day became a supervisor within months when I was employee for a year at that point asking for promotion opportunities. The company continues to add more responsibilities to what their employees have to do instead of listening to customers and upgrading their security products for the better for happier customers. No vacation days off promised, so if you want time with your family you have to worry about taking time out of your day to request the holiday off and HOPE it gets approved. There’s three tiers for tech agents at the company: Tier 1,2 and 3 and even though tier 3 agents speak to the most customers everyday, take the most difficult technical calls and are the most experienced agents with Simplisafe equipment they get paid the same amount as tier 1 and 2 agents ? and this is something they expect us to be okay with this ? Attendance is UNNECESSARILY strict, we used to be able to call out if an emergency happens unexpectedly but now it’s basically impossible to take one day off without consequence if it’s not pre scheduled several days in advance.
