Pros

Love my students, love getting to tutor students from around the country. Very little supervision so you really get to be creative with your teaching, which I like.

Cons

Super low pay; they charge $80/hr for my services and I receive $15/hr

Cons

(1) Tutors don't get paid for lesson notes or prep time. (2) Tutors don't get paid for driving time.

Pros

In my first 90 days. Solid source of part time income. They provide the students, you get to work with your students from start to finish, throughout the whole process. I have had no shortage of students on my schedule. Great experience so far. Bottom line: honest job and no scams from this company.

Cons

Significant amount of unpaid work: prepping lessons (which ought to be done if you want to do a good job). Phone calls and emails to parents (not huge amount of time overall, but at a rate of $0 for the time spent doing these tasks).
