Pros

love the co-workers and friendships you build. that was the only thing I felt was keeping me going here and only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of one. chill supervisors(most of the time) nice duck pond area in the back, spacious commons area, cafeteria line. convenient location. The hourly rate was good.

Cons

You have to wait 12 months before you get 16 hrs of PTO. on the 13th month, you get 64 more. however, you have to put in a request a week ahead of time to use it and it may or may not be accepted. Mine were always rejected "due to business demands". I'd have to call in for my shift (and be issued a tardy point) so they can go back and add it. if you're a licensed agent, you WILL be laid off shortly after the season's over. they offered us to go to customer service this yr. we stayed for 3 months and got LAID OFF for decrease in workforce/call volume "per - the client". I had 40 PTO hours left that I haven't used yet. I asked HR if I could still have them, and she said "NOPE! YOU WON'T GET THEM!" they refused. Under TX Law, you're REQUIRED for cases involuntary and for decrease in workforce. Too many people calling you out on walkie talkies if you're taking too much time wrapping up your notes. Computer issues. Many supervisors refusing to take supervisor calls to alleviate customer complaints. frequent last-second changes. moving from room to room. 6:30-2p or 3p - 11:30PM schedules for training. strict training schedules or you may not be able to continue to production after training is over. high turnover. semi-monthly pay. (only 2 times in a month/fixed dates.) beating around the bush. Entire HR staff is extremely rude and they don't care about you. I even missed training for Jury Duty and my trainer gave me a warning. condescending upper management. Referral bonuses - don't count on them. I was promised I'd get $100 per person when I referred 2 of my friends. I went to HR to ask them about it, they said no, that's not us, recruiting deals with that. I went to recruiting, and they said no that's not us, that's PAYROLL. I went back to HR and said they sent me to payroll. HR said we're not payroll. we're HR. and I said where is payroll? They had the nerve to tell me salt lake city Utah. Finally I just went to the call center manager and she had to create e-mails. Then I got the referral bonus 2 pay periods later, and they paid me $100 for both together. So They gave me $50 per person. After that, I just didn't even bother I gave up. NEVER refer any of your friends here, it's a LOST CAUSE. This place has no sympathy. and they're also sketchy and they know things that they won't tell you for the longest time, up until LAST SECOND. NO holiday pay. and NO working on Holidays either. so you'll be short for your hours that are on Holidays. If during training in December, expect to work on a Sunday or a Saturday to make up for the lost time for a Holiday. Or 4 days with 10 Hours.

Pros

For the account I was working on we were able to work from home which was nice. Ability to move around within the company.

Cons

The pay compared to the job duties on the account I was assigned to was ridiculously low. Working directly for the company instead of Teleperformance was literally double our hourly wage. The training left a lot to be desired. I was the only one in the training class that passed all 3 technical support tests on the first attempt, and I had to answer the questions for everyone else when they scheduled the retest each time so we didn't lose the entire training class. Management had a tendency to talk down to the agents a lot and nobody was ever willing to help anybody else out. I would constantly see agents in chat begging for help and being ignored completely. Customers were a lot more pleasant than the staff by far.
