Pros

Can't think of any at this time.

Cons

You'll be used for as much work as they can squeeze out. If you've been designated remote by HR/Payroll, they'll change it to where you must come in 3x per week or it will reflect negatively on your review. No amount of work will be good enough. They claim to want quality, but volume is the only way you'll be kept on. The systems get worse and worse and slow productivity to half what it was - then they wonder why they can't keep up. They're known for low salary, which used to mean that you would have security (they never did layoffs under the former CEO), but now they're just sneakier about layoffs to fly under the radar of the media. In just Mortgage, they did 4 layoffs in one year. Out team was cut over 60%. After the 4th layoff, they changed everyone who was remote to hybrid and put Central time people under Pacific time - even though they had sufficient coverage on the West Coast team - so people now have to work until 7:30 CST, with little to no accommodation given. If they get people to resign or retire, they don't have to pay severance. US Bank is so very different than it was in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Pros

The only pros is the technology us bank offers, on both the client and employee sides it is superior.

Cons

After us bank bought out union bank , us bank failed to meet all promises made to employees and clients. it is no wonder they keep loosing long clients. Us bank is a big bully , instead of nurturing and welcoming union bank employees they complete felt the need to belittle them. Quickly positions where laid off and branches where closed. To union bank you are really just a number. Now I understand the concept of “corporate America sucks” or you’re looking for a career that will fulfill your servant heart and mental health, do not consider us bank.

Pros

Pay is decent if you can fight for a raise. Current Supervisor is amazing and the key reasons I haven't left the position.

Cons

nCino software is the bane of our existence. We constantly lose work and deal with system errore that make the normal processes fail to operate. It now take 4 times as long to do the same work. Employees are overwhelmed, over tasked with no hope in sight. Senior Management is deaf to the issues and will not allow for any stability among drastic changes with constant lending policy changes, additional taskings on over tasked analysts. Management is too busy patting themselves onnthe back for what they think has gone well to see the fact that they have a service morale issue, on top of a even more critical operations issue. This isn't sustainable.
