Pros

Outside sales position so you're not in the office every single day. Majority of the co workers and office setting is pretty great. Decent but not amazing pay and a decent commission structure. Great on your resume to move forward with your career.

Cons

You need a great branch and sales manager for a location to succeed. Can't just have one. Current sales manager is a great seller but isnt a great teacher, not organized, has high expectations without really showing you how to reach your goals. At this company you are considered a njmber and your clock starts ticking immediately. No time to build a real database, they expect you to sell right out the gate although it takes time to make a sale. Sometimes you can close a deal on the spot but not often. They preach this is an entry level position but act as if they pay you 6 figures and have those expectations of you.

Thank you for your feedback. We strongly believe in helping our Team Partners to grow and it always saddens us whenever any UniFirst Team Partners feels that their experience in our organization is a negative one. Perhaps you can utilize our Open Door Policy and have an open conversation with your Location Management about your concerns.

Pros

The office was close to my home

Cons

Poor management who are not properly trained. Your skills are not measured by your work, they are measured on a report. If you have a bad day get ready for the TALK, High Stress, No direction. Get ready and don't say I didn't tell you so. If you remember one thing. Remember this post before you sign the offer letter

We are disappointed to hear that you felt like the Local Management Team did not live up to your expectations. Please understand we are always seeking to improve our best practices for Management, from a local level all the way to the top. And we always preach that our Managers must be smarter than the reports. We hope you’ve found a better fit for yourself.

Pros

Above average pay for an entry level sales job. Nothing else

Cons

Where to start? The lies started in the interview process. told I would make 100k selling uniforms and urinal cakes. This is not even close to accurate. Told I needed to be in the field from 7am to 5 pm while management strolls in around 10. Called names by my supervisor. Manager always "too busy" to answer questions. Didn't want me to call him from the field because he was too busy. By far the least friendly place I've ever worked.

It is unfortunate you feel that you were misled. We rely heavily on our Managers to actively help our Salespeople to succeed, as they are a large factor in their development. We hope that in your next position, you find exactly what you are looking for.
