Pros

Decent benefits and good hours

Cons

Nurses gossip heavily and create a very toxic work environment. Management is horrible and does nothing to decrease drama. Front office staff is overworked an underpaid.

Pros

A great position for a potential employee who wants to learn about the healthcare system from the bottom up and explore the experience of a clinic environment.

Cons

At times, the culture can be ingrown and the environment can be less than professional. PTO, holiday, and sick pay are combined and that means less actual PTO. Pay is low, especially for the amount of work that is expected to be managed during the course of the day and with limited overtime opportunities. This is contributed to being short-staffed.

Pros

Great Supervisors Great Coworkers Ability to work extra shifts

Cons

The pay is fairly average. This is my part-time job so I don't complain but I don't know how I'd survive off of $14/hr, especially doing this job. You are confronted by angry patients at times who don't understand the concept of having to wait in line. Some patients are online check-ins so when they come in after reserving a spot and are immediately seen while other are waiting, it creates tension. We are required to offer great customer service, deal with sick and disorderly patients, we get sick ourselves, scan paperwork, answer phones, and send messages back to clinical staff... all for $14/hr. I think they'd have a lower turnover rate if they'd hire quality people for the right pay.
