Employees are very nice. Seem to be good people.

Cons

I accepted a position as Project Manager, but when I came on board my position changed to something else.

Dear Former PM (R.S), sorry you are still hurt. As discussed, you oversold and under-performed. You were distracted on your phone during customer meeting, and could not capture notes effectively despite claiming "strong functional knowledge". Your employment decision was one of the easier ones to make, and we hoped that by parting ways both of us could move on to better professional situations. #1 role of a Project Manager is communication, and your poor grammar on this post only highlights your capabilities. I 100% agree - integrity is important. Hope all potential interviewers note that it is in their interest to be truthful about capabilities and experience .

Pay Is Too Low

Pros

I was able to work from home, and I set my own hours. Everyone I worked with was nice. There were weekly meetings.

Cons

I thought the pay was terrible. They target college students because the pay is so low, and I think its unfair that they continue to hire people at that low rate instead of giving the people they have already hired a higher salary and more hours.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand your viewpoint, and want to share that the program is geared to identify talent. We go broad, and hope to identify talent that can be brought onboard for more responsibilities. I recommend that you focus on your responsibility, hit the ball out of the ballpark, communicate your accomplishments to the team / management, and if interested, join us fully time with broader set of responsibilities. My 2 cents for a fulfilling career.

Thank you for the feedback, and sorry to hear that things did not work out for you. In case of our internship program, we have had numerous success where folks performed very well and they were absorbed full time in to the company. If the student performance is not as strong, we do not convert the candidate in to full time, and hope that at least the internship experience would be a stepping stone to other opportunities. Note that life is FULL OF TESTS. Sometimes, you know that you are being tested and other times, we are simply unaware. We will take your feedback in to account, and have more explicit communication that the internship program is where we want to see your best effort, and not one where interns do there minimum to "get by". Unfortunately, I will respectfully disagree with your advice to close the business. I think there are a lot more folks who are appreciative of the opportunity (including myself) to work with extremely smart and dedicated peers - and we have a bias to listen to them.
