Pros

Work From Home Flexible Schedule Paid Training Very Supportive Team to help You be Successful

Cons

Low pay start you off at $9 have to work 600 hours before you can get a dollar raised Must meet a quota of two leads per hour Don't think there should be a quota when we are calling people who sometimes are rude and sometimes have no knowledge of what they signed up for.. The job is telemarketing even though they tell you its not.. So you got to have a thick skin to prepare you for some of the calls you will encounter...

Pros

Working from Home, Saving Money on Gas

Cons

Don't even bother working on quality calls or adhering to schedule, attendance, etc. etc. Perfect record except for two leads per hour at the end due to script changes and tricking people into college offers, most calls ended up with answering machine, hanging up, abusing the rep. They blame it on the reps, not the calls they get. Employees still there have the worst records as far as employment with this company and are still working, even after several final warnings. Not worth trying to do your best here it doesn't matter. Calls were bogus, only they blame the call center reps who don't make the money for management. Lowest on the totem pole gets the heave-ho. Then when you leave they have the nerve to ask you to fill out survey why you left. Not wasting my electricity and equipment for two to three hours a day. I think that's a pretty good reason.

Pros

The one major benefit of the position, is that it is entirely from home. I enjoy the fact that I can wake up, have breakfast and coffee, and start work. I also enjoy that, as a work from home position, there are no "office politics", per se.

Cons

The challenges of working for this company are many. 1. We do not get paid nearly enough for what we do, and what we deal with. 2. While the company has instituted a 401k, that is the extend of any benefits. Paid time off is finally being offered also, but the way it is accrued, is completely incomprehensible. I work part time (and had my hours cut some time ago, to boot), so I basically earn none. All other time off is non-paid, which is ridiculous. 3. While management touts the opportunities for growth, in reality, they are next to non-existent. I've worked with the company for some time, and have gotten almost nothing but negative feedback, no opportunities to move upward. 5. I truly feel that the CEO and VP are in far over their heads. What started as an amazing opportunity, makes me feel, in essence, kind of sleazy.
