      Management Stinks and HR stands behind them

      Pros

      TELEWORK! TELEWORK! TELEWORK! And helping fellow military spouses.

      Cons

      Management is terrible! No proper communication between call center teams. One Supervisor will tell you one thing and a different one another. If you have an issue with your Operation Supervisor, the Advisor and Counselor Services Leads do nothing and expect you to basically deal with it. Take it to HR and they tell ou to go back and just work it out. There are no defined policies in place. They cherry-pick who does what. Discrimination could be at play if you dont have defined policies for everyone.

      Pros

      None really. I have nothing positive to say except some of my co-workers were really nice.

      Cons

      Very racist place. They blatantly pay their African American employees less than they pay Whites for the same jobs and they harass their African American employees to drive them out. Management is horrible and only concerned with maintaining the plantation mentality of control more so than doing an effective job.

      Not for Financial Professionals

      Pros

      The pay is way above average for the small amount of work to do daily. But, it is below average for someone in financial services.

      Cons

      - No opportunity for advancement since this is effectively a long-term temp job, since they are Federal contractors. - Co-workers have simple training that is required of Accredited Financial Counselors (AFC) in budgeting and dealing with credit. - If you are a financial professional, this place is a dead end for your career. You will have to explain to your co-workers simple financial concepts routinely. Benefits are awful.

      I am sorry to see that you were not pleased with your previous employment at Zeiders. You are correct, we are a federal contractor and hire individuals who possess a mission to serve the military community. The scope of our contract is to provide financial readiness for the military community and that includes budgeting. Thank you for taking the time to provide your opinion.
