Commercial sales is a joke

Pros

Position is mostly remote. It’s a paycheck. Other wise it’s a complete headache.

Cons

Any job in the sales team will cause you to shave years off your life. Unless you’re absolutely desperate don’t do it. Everything they tell you is a lie. Maybe 5 out of 50 people hit quota and only half your sales will install causing you to get commissions taken back. This is is true for all business sales.

Pros

Ziply has a great product. Once installed it works well and miles better than cable.

Cons

Ridiculous pay. They tell you the base is low, they know that. (50%below market rate) However, they’ll tell you the commission structure more than makes up for it. Not true. Quota goes up if you exceed it which means commissions drop. Complete bait and switch to hire talent they can’t afford or are willing to pay. Prepare for a disappointing experience.
