Because we all needed a good excuse to get away from our screens, we’ve introduced the Office to Office challenge! A race between two Berkeley teams to see who can cover the distance between our London and New York offices first through any form of exercise. In true Berkeley style, we have had 70 participants from all parts of the firm walking, cycling, jogging – and it has been fantastic fun! Who will win?
Happy 30th Anniversary Berkeley! We couldn't celebrate in proper Berkeley style due to the pandemic, however in November 2020 we hit a pretty big milestone and couldn't let it go unnoticed. Covid-19 has provided a lot of challenges for everyone. As a business our first priority was our employees. We are happy to say that we didn't put any consultants on furlough and gave all employees pay rises as planned in 2020. The majority of consultants have been working from home although where possible we have kept our office open for those who want to work there, in a safe social distanced way. We have put a lot of thought into how to keep our employees engaged via zoom and other virtual activities and are confident that this has helped our employees stay connected during this difficult year. We have also been working hard to maintain our relationships with clients off site and are delighted to say that our business remains strong. Covid-19 is driving many of our clients to think about ways to shape and deliver changes to their organisations which were previously considered unworkable or too big a leap. We have established a hub of articles to help guide them through these changes and of course are on hand to assist with these transformations.
