Some great leaders. Some not so much.

Pros

People, benefits, some flexibility, and potential growth

Cons

There are more than the pros. Promotions are highly highly based on nepotism and less on competency. They have this model that leaders just need to lead and not do. This would work if the leaders they had are actually leaders. I’d say a good 75% aren’t leaders. They are just making sure they look good to their boss to justify their salary instead of growing and leading employees. HR is a joke and clearly nothing goes to the CEO desk unless it does and she just doesn’t care. The flip side being there are some wonderful leaders as well. Just very few of them. Bullying is a problem here too.

Thank you for providing us a review. We proactively source feedback from our employees on our leaders via a manager effectiveness survey and continually look for ways to improve. We have a very strong Management training track here at Advia allows us to continually grow the skill set of our leaders. We apologize for this being your experience at Advia. Our HR and senior leadership team works very hard to listen to feedback provided by our employees and execute change where possible.

Pros

Amazing coworkers, some lower level management is wonderful and encouraging, opportunities for very basic education in finances, a feeling of helping people and making a difference

Cons

Regional managers and above offer lip service to smoothe legitimate concerns without actually committing to any action for change, members are allowed to consistently harass and belittle front line staff with no repercussions despite Advia having a zero tolerance policy, training provided is often not quite extensive enough to help with difficult conversations that you will have daily, non competitive with wages in job market, marked incidents with what felt like employee favoritism, workload is constantly increasing and changing which causes constant confusion, movement and growth is difficult and the process of interviewing for new roles within the company have left some of my colleagues waiting 5+ weeks before they hear back from recruitment to hear a decision.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of your experience with Advia. We are disappointed to know this is your experience but appreciate the time you took to share your advice. I would like to share some information that might provide a little understanding or context, Advia has a 48% internal promotion ratio meaning 48% of the time the hire comes from within the organization. Our pay ranges are evaluated annually with peer groups in our markets to verify that we remain competitive in our pay scales. We work very hard to be transparent with what a position does from not only our job descriptions, but our interviewing and training. I would be happy to further discuss your other concerns listed to help improve our processes as continual improvements is what we strive for. Please just reach out and we can set up a time. Thank you again for your honesty and willingness to share.

Pros

The only thing good is there is no management inside the branch

Cons

They lied in their 4 interviews about the job position. They have no management even in the State of the branch. The branch in Cary, IL. Has only 200 members and you can't make any money. Not a professional company
