Pros

You learn a lot as far as administrative assistant jobs being a Client service professional. This jobs allows training to give you experience for other front desk or administrative jobs.

Cons

The pay is not very high; closer to minimum wage. The job is also a seasonal job open only from January to April (tax season).

Pros

Flexible hours, get to work with people, help to sell something that people actually need, if you do well the manager might try to get you extra hours at another office. You can take the summer class to become a TaxPro for a discounted rate in the year you worked as a CSP.

Cons

Difficult to get 40 hours per week, occasionally TaxPros try to push you around, sometimes the people filing don't know their ABCs.
