Pros

Met amazing nurses and some great sales people and patients! Within the clinic we trauma-bonded for sure

Cons

Over the last 8 months, so many nurses and PCCs have left the company across NY, it’s clear why. Patients are scheduled past closing hours due to chronic overbooking, leaving staff burnt out and unsupported. My colleagues and I voiced this many times and were met with peppy, "business needs! the clinic closes when the last patient leaves." So then why did you allow to severely over book patients? Constructive feedback is not welcomed. Leadership and HR are defensive, doing meaningless "investigations" and often deflecting concerns or gaslighting employees into thinking the issues are unique to them. Just read the consistent negative reviews here; It's in all clinics. Management is only concerned about selling more and booking as many clients in the day. The combination of poor leadership, toxic work culture, inefficient systems, and lack of support makes this a difficult and demoralizing environment for clinical staff. Also worth noting: during “LA University,” a corporate event, staff are pressured to write positive Glassdoor reviews, which likely contributes to the misleading ratings on this page.

Pros

Helped me appreciate better companies.

Cons

This company has the most trashy and toxic work environment I’ve ever experienced. The turnover rate is ridiculously high, with new employees constantly coming and going. The company prioritizes profits over patient well-being and creates financial stress for its staff. Patients often have reactions to treatments or have had negative experiences with unexperienced nurses. The aggressive sales tactics are relentless, and if you have a $0 day, you receive a warning from territory/area leadership and internal employee resource teams. They show little respect for employees and are completely disconnected from what’s happening in the clinic. Gaslighting and harassment are overlooked, and there is no support when issues arise. You will be set up for failure. If you are not a nurse, they treat you like trash. The micromanagement is overwhelming, and there are times when you’re asked to do work for days you’re not scheduled to work. Mistakes are not tolerated, and if one happens, upper leadership and internal resource teams will reprimand you harshly. There have been multiple instances where employees have been degraded or belittled. Positive reviews are fake (they pressure you to write positive reviews), negative reviews are real. Also, the sales team should not be responsible for numbing patients — we are not medical professionals; there have been many instances where staff were expected to numb patients during legally protected lunch breaks, making it nearly impossible to take a proper break during busy shifts. The schedule is often triple-booked, and violating someone’s right to a lunch break is not only unethical, it’s ILLEGAL. This isn’t written out of malice — it’s written to help others avoid getting caught in an unethical and harmful work environment.

Pros

They will hire RNs with no aesthetic experience so it is a good way to get experience in an industry that is extremely hard to break into. Other nurses are nice. It is day time hours, classic 8 hours shifts, and much less stressful than most bedside nursing jobs. The pay is competitive.

Cons

When hired you will be told to expect to work 50% of weekend days and often it is a lot more than this. No respect for nurses nor are you given any authority to use your clinical judgement. All treatment plans are made by the sales team whom will sell any treatment to any patient regardless of candidacy. Expect to be apologizing to patients on a daily basis for the repeated scheduling issues and aggressive sales pitches at each appointment. You must be an expert multitasker as you will have half the allotted time to complete each appointment and you will have two appointments scheduled at the same time each day (this is actually a company scheduling requirement). This is not a job for the weak of heart and the one and ONLY reason I would recommend it to anyone I cared about is to just get the experience and get out.
