This company has mastered manipulation and the idea that they are accomplishing "good".
Pros
You get a free treatment once a month or more if you are cool with the nurses.
Cons
I worked at LaserAway for about a year hoping it would get better and it never did. They sell you in the interviews about how it is a great, powerful, meaningful company to be a part of and it is all not true. You have the top earners which is regional and VPs (and higher) for it to be enjoyable. But all of the patient care coordinators (which is also the sales team) are the ones breaking their backs every day and barely getting paid out. You make minimum wage if you work in the clinic, which as we know in 2023 does not take care of people's needs. Then you get 10% commission which is taxed in the highest bracket possible. So, in reality you are not making much money. They do have top earners in each region (remote and in clinic) but they are more likely to be the worst type of sales representatives. Which means they con people into sales and manipulate women into thinking they NEED services. I have interacted with so many customers who got into a contract they were not properly educated about and now they are stuck in a contract that they cannot get out of without getting screwed over completely. At the beginning they act very supportive and encouraging (girl boss type stuff) then after a few months if you are not doing better than your peers, they start applying the pressure. They will use comparison tactics and threaten to change your schedule to have to less-than-ideal shifts or they just flat out threatened to cut your hours and get rid of you. They are smart in having these conversations through phone call or in person because they do not like to have paper trails of the shady behavior. There is a lot of mean girl/ bully behavior from girls in this company, especially from top earners and your bosses. Because at the end of the day you are all fighting for the same paycheck from customers and your bosses make money off your sales. I truly can go on and on about this company and their large, but hidden, faults. If you are thinking about treatments or working here, I would advise against it because you can get the same treatments from other companies that are a fraction of the price. And you can work at other places that truly values you as an employee and not just a number sign to your bosses' paychecks. If your boss thinks you are drinking the tea, they will ask you to go write reviews on these types of sights. I have been asked personally and never did it. A lot of these reviews that are made are so that your boss can get a bonus that month. All reviews online are watched and accounted for, so if they are done well the boss will get an extra bonus, not the people who are actually dealing with patients.
